Team spirit borders on a religious experience for some. Walking down the street or in a busy store, fans of sports teams don their team’s gear with great pride and zeal. Shirts, hats, shorts, jackets, hoodies everywhere.
There’s another nitch, another product out there that helps one celebrate their favorite team…jewelry. And store bought necklaces, bracelets, etc., are pretty. But it’s the handcrafted piece that gets fans asking “Where did you get that?? I want one!”
Some of my personally favored pieces that I create are in honor of a customer’s beloved sports club or team member. Stamping blanks with the name of the mascot or city and using Swarovski Crystals to accent the pendant is a striking pair. Elegant and rustic together. Spirit abounds!
Pendants can be made from a variety of metals depending upon desired look and price. The BISON necklace pictured looks terrific on brass, as one of the colors of the team happens to be gold. Other metals include sealed nickel (to hinder allergies), copper, and strerling silver. All can be finished with leather cords or any length of a number of chains.
